Apply the mixed adhesive onto the substrate using a notched trowel to a uniform thickness (typically 2–3 mm). Press tiles firmly into the adhesive bed with a slight twisting motion to ensure full contact. Tile Joints Leave appropriate spacing between tiles, generally 2 mm for ceramic tiles, to accommodate grout. Grouting Allow tiles to set for 24 hours before grouting. Cleaning Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
