Following are directions for the use of SKOFBOND SBR H4 for structural repairs and rehabilitation of concrete structures.

• Reach the sound concrete and clean reinforcements with wire brush to remove loose scales and particles.
• Clean with jet of water to remove loose particles, dust etc.
• Apply passivator coat: 1-part cement: 1-part SKOFBOND SBR H4, coat on cleaned reinforcement and allow it to dry for 2-3 hours. Coverage: 7 to 8 running meter of reinforcement area per liter of SKOFBOND SBR H4.
• Apply BOND COAT – 1 Part cement 1-part SKOFBOND SBR H4 on entire surface which is to receive subsequent modified mortar. Coverage: 2 to 3 m² per liter of SKOFBOND SBR H4.
• Prepare polymer modified mortar: Cement 50 kg, 125 kg zone II sand, 10kg SKOFBOND SBR H4 and Water 5 to 7 liters. Apply this by hand pressing over tacky bond coat. Yield: 0.1m³ of above mix will cover 10m² area at 10 mm thickness.

• Excellent adhesive to reinforcement & concrete.
• Increased flexural strength.
• Increased tensile strength.
• Compressive strength comparable to that of concrete.
• Reduced shrinkage.
• Reduced water permeability.
• Improved chemical resistance.
• Gives weather resistant mortar with improved durability impermeability against chlorides and other harmful agents.
• Compatible with all common hydraulic cements.
