Following are directions for the use of SKOFBOND SBR M5 for structural repairs and rehabilitation of concrete structures.

• Reach the sound concrete and clean reinforcements with wire brush to remove loose scales and particles.
• Clean with jet of water to remove loose particles, dust etc.
• Apply passivator coat: 1 part cement: 1 part SKOFBOND SBR M5, coat on cleaned reinforcement and allow it to dry for 2-3 hours. Coverage: 7 to 8 running meter of reinforcement area per liter of SKOFBOND SBR M5.
• Apply BOND COAT – 1 Part cement 1 part SKOFBOND SBR M5 on entire surface which is to receive subsequent modified mortar. Coverage: 2 to 3 m² per liter of SKOFBOND SBR M5.
• Prepare polymer modified mortar: Cement 50 kg, 125 kg zone II sand, 15-20 liter SKOFBOND SBR M5. Apply this by hand pressing over tacky bond coat. Yield: 0.1 m³ of above mix will cover 10m² area at 10 mm thickness.

• Excellent adhesive to reinforcement & concrete.
